Know your audience, marketers - Second Life and other "new" media


This week's Marketing Profs newsletter has a fabulous article (called "Welcome to Second Life, Marketers") that challenges marketers to think about what they're doing before they make the leap into the online world of Second Life.

It seems like, as marketers, we have a tendency to want to grab onto the latest method or means, without considering whether it fits the audience or can provide the type of story/experience that supports our business goals.

This is one of the best articles I've seen on the topic. Bravo, Greg Verdino!!
