iVak holds up under road warrior ways, still turns heads

iVak - white
I've been using a beautiful white iVak case from Vakaadoo on my iPod for the last several months (see the review on Dave's blog), and I have to say that I'm extraordinarily pleased with it. It protects the player well while giving access to the control wheel, and I love the texture of the case.

One thing that has also been especially nice is that the iVak is very durable, tolerating the abuse that I've given it as I've dragged my iPod back and forth every week in my travels between Lansing, Michigan and Silicon Valley in northern California.

To this day, the iVak still turns heads, even among the jaded techies in the Bay area who own every gadget known to man. This week, both my company CEO and a company founder asked me about the case, which stood out to them. I also had another co-worker say after she saw it that she would get one, too, since she hadn't been too pleased with the quality or durability of her "skin style" iPod case. (I wrote down the name of the company so she could look it up online.)

Of course, now Vakaadoo has come out with a case for the nano…. Makes me want to go out and get a nano, just so I can have an excuse to cart around another Vakaadoo case. :-)
